With Marudhu queued to release by May 20, the actor Vishal had started the shooting for his next, Kaththi Sandai. Directed by Suraj, Tamannaah plays the female lead in the film pairing with Vishal for the first time. It is the 2nd time for the lady to work with the director after Padikkathavan in 2009 with Dhanush. Tamannaah had not given any movies in Tamil since the blockbuster Baahubali. Her another flick Dharma Durai had its shooting completed recently. She will be featured in a homely look in the film as a teacher pairing with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time. The post production works are going on and it will hit the screens in a couple of months. Kaththi Sandai, as we know earlier marks the comeback film for Vadivelu in his track of expertise. Soori is also accompanying him this time for cracking humour. Meanwhile Vishal’s Marudhu directed by Muthaiah is having censored today. The action drama will have a new announcement to make by the end of the day.
