Everyone at the tinsel town is being astonished looking at the box office collections of Sarrainodu. Released on April 22 in 1600 screens, it is the second best film in terms of collections for the stylish actor after Race Gurram in 2014. The movie has crossed the much coveted 100 crore collection in 17 days worldwide. However, it managed to garner 17 crores on the first day itself followed by 72 crores in the first week. It became the highest grosser in the opening week beating the records made by Nannaku Prematho. All the compliments goes to the actor's heroism and the villain's excellent performance along with Thaman's super hit songs. It is the second time for Allu Arjun to achieve this feat among the only 8 movies in the whole of Telugu cine industry to have made it possible. By the end of second week, it touched the 91 crore mark and was sure of entering the 100 crore club in the third week. The movie was produced by Allu Arjun under Geetha Arts with 65 crores and the theatrical rights were already sold for 53.5 crores.
