Ace director Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani is being successfully remade in Hindi with the romantic pair of Aashiqui 2, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. Titled as OK Jaanu, Shaad Ali is helming the flick who has previously remade other Mani Ratnam’s movies like Saathiya and also worked with him as Assistant director for some movies. After the watching the original flick OK Kanmani, the actress Shraddha Kapoor had nodded positive to play the leading lady. She had always liked the director’s way of filmmaking in Saathiya of how the romance blossomed between Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji. This time Aditya-Shraddha pair has worked out a different chemistry between them unlike Aashiqui 2. The lady also shares that her character is different from what she has done so far and also an interesting one. Shraddha is always known to us as a bubbly girl-next-door and now a little bit professionalism can be seen. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the shooting is currently progressing and will hit the screens by the end of this year. Her latest outing was Baaghi with Tiger Shroff which is presently doing an average business in the box office. Next she will be seen pairing with Arjun Kapoor in the making of Chetan Bhagat's Half Girlfriend to be directed by Mohit Suri.
