The important scenes of Shankar’s 2.0 has been canned at New Delhi for about a month with the main leads Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. A football league match and an adrenaline rush car chase sequence were filmed during the schedule with Hollywood stunt choreographer Kenny Bates. We also heard that the climax scenes were shot at the capital city. Now the team has flown down to Chennai and a fresh third schedule has been kick started from May 2. Already the team has scouted sets at the EVP Theme Park in the outskirts of Chennai. When the filming was initially started, the first schedule ran at the same location with Rajinikanth and few dwarf actors playing as robots. After this there are rumours that they will reach out to foreign locations at Morocco and Bolivia to shoot a song. Produced by Lyca Productions, they have invested a whopping amount of nearly 350 crores in this venture. The cast consists of Amy Jackson playing the Assistant and the lovelady for Superstar. The latest addition to the team is Bollywood actors Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in the supporting roles.
