The 1969’s Bollywood thriller Ittefaq directed by Yash Chopra starring an ensemble cast of Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, Bindu, Madan Puri and Iftekhar is in news to be remade again now. The movie’s producer was BR Chopra way back in 1969 and now his grandson Abhay Chopra will remake it. It is rumoured that Sonakshi Sinha and Siddharth Malhotra will be pairing this time. Though there is no official confirmation on the same, a source close to the project had leaked the rumour to be positive. The scripting work is currently going on after which narrations to each of them will follow. After they both sign the dotted line, we could expect an announcement from the team. We also hear that there are some changes made to the climax portions of the original film. There are also some news that SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainments and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will unite with Abhay Chopra to co-produce this flick. Sonakshi has his next movie Akira followed by Force 2, Namastey England and Noor to release in the forthcoming months. While the handsome actor will also be seen next in Baar Baar Dekho.
