The views crossed 50,000 in just a minute and even caused the YouTube to crash down for few seconds. It garnered more than one million views in just one hour after its trending hashtags on Twitter. Being a gangster flick after a long time for Superstar, it’s just his walk needed to mesmerize the audiences. Not to mention the rocking tunes composed by Santhosh Narayanan had the speakers to blast. The trademark punch dialogues and the pakka delivery given by Rajinikanth added soul to it. So far, the teaser had almost 5 million views in 20 hours. The background theme music ‘Neruppu da’ and the ending chord ‘Magizhchi’ are the highlights of even the little what Thalaivar spoke. It has set new records in the history of Tamil cinema that was way more than expectations. It has also become the first movie in India to rake 1 million likes in an hour. Meanwhile Kalaipuli had been visiting Thiruverkadu Amman Temple and gave a special pooja before 11 A.M for its success which had rightly paid off.
