The Tollywood’s blockbuster hit thriller film Kshanam was reported to be remade in Tamil & Hindi. While Sibiraj is to play the male lead in the Tamil remake, there were many speculations running around about who will play the main lead in Hindi. Big names like Salman Khan are coming up to reprise Adivi Sesh’s role and now there is an interesting addition to the cast. Tabu has nodded positive to play the cop role as ACP Jaya which was originally played by Anasuya Bharadwaj. The character is a grey shaded role with suspense revealing at the climax. Well this suits the best to Tabu who is doing negative shaded roles recently. She was seen for the first time donning the khaki in Drushyam and this would be her second. The script has been altered in Hindi by the writers so that her character is accommodated in a bigger way on screen. The original story was written by Adivi Sesh who shared once that he wrote the ACP role keeping Tabu in mind. Unfortunately, she had missed the chance to play the role in Telugu and hence they opted for Anasuya Bharadwaj. Apart from them, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also rumoured to play the inspector role. Bollywood director cum producer Sajid Nadiadwala had bought the Hindi remake rights and is anticipated to run on floors from mid 2016.
