Ace director Anurag Kashyap has achieved new feats with his next thriller film to be premiered at Cannes. Its theatrical release is schedule for May 27 and before to that, it entered the 69th Cannes International Film Festival. This fest will run between May 11 & May 22 and Raman Raghav 2.0 will be filmed in the Directors' Fortnight section. This is the 5th time for Anurag’s films to be screened at Cannes. His other movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Peddlers, Bombay Talkies and Ugly were also premiered at the prestigious gala. Many movies from renowned directors will open during the event and this psychological thriller becoming a part of it is an honour to the team and Indian cine industry. Raman Raghav 2.0 is based on the serial killer Raman Raghav who shook Mumbai during 1960s. The acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play the titular role who seeks for worldwide recognition through this film. The cast consists of Vicky Kaushal playing the police officer and Marathi actress Amruta Subhash in a supporting role.
