Vikram starrer Iru Mugan has completed 50% of the shooting as hinted by the director Anand Shankar in his Twitter space. This sci-fi thriller has its two schedules completed at Malaysia, Chennai and some scenes in the cold valleys of Kashmir. The further scenes to be canned are the important ones and will run at 8 different sets in Chennai. It is a 2 month long schedule upto the end of May after which the team will fly to Bangkok for the final touch up. The female lead Nithya Menon had already finished filming her scenes and now it is Nayanthara’s turn. At this stage, the director had let a word that it is time to unveil the teaser of this stylish action entertainer in this month. Produced by Shibu Thameens, the makers are planning to release the teaser on April 17, the actor’s 50th birthday or on April 29 as their second option. Harris Jayaraj scores the tunes for this film and it is expected to hit the screens by this July. The cast also consists of Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran and others playing supporting roles.
