Actor Suriya will be seen in 3 roles and in 5 makeovers in his upcoming sci-fi click, 24. Directed by Vikram Kumar, he shares that the meaning of the title revolves around these getups and we have to watch the film till the end to understand the complete meaning of it. Each of the actor’s role will be unique and versatile with separate style and body language. This is the first time for Suriya to experience such a multi-faceted characterisation. For the makeup itself, he has to spend four and a half hours. Also the villain role ‘Athreya’ is a specially designed one. Suriya seems to be terrific in that role, a cold blooded baddie and he has to change his voice to a harsh tone and dub separately for it. After looking at the teaser and trailer of how the movie was made, there were rumours spreading that 24 is inspired from some Hollywood film. But Vikram Kumar clears the cloud by telling that it is the story of our people and was not taken from Hollywood. Produced by the actor’s 2D Entertainments and Studio Green Productions, the music album composed by A.R.Rahman will be launched by next month. Starring Samantha and Nithya Menon in the female leads, the movie is likely to hit the screens in April clashing with Vijay’s Theri.
