Aandavan Kattalai is an upcoming movie from the Kaaka Muttai maker Manikandan featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Ritika Singh, the boxer from Irudhi Suttru will be playing the female lead as her second film. It is bankrolled by Anbu Chezhian of Gopuram Films and K is roped in to compose tunes. A small official pooja to launch the film was done at Kilpauk, Chennai with the 2 actors and the makers of the film. The shooting will happen at the same location and the first schedule will run for few days in Chennai itself. The Kirumi director Anucharan who was acclaimed for his excellent editing in his debut film is assigned as the editor. The official first look poster was also unveiled with the actor’s silhouette face and mentioning the start of the venture. Meanwhile Vijay Sethupathi’s other movie Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum will hit the screens on the next day to it, on March 11. It is the director Nalan Kumarasamy’s second project after Soodhu Kavvum which also had the same protagonist.
