It has been the season where Bollywood ladies are venturing into Hollywood and Nimrat Kaur is not the one left behind. She will be seen playing the role of an architect ‘Rebecca’ in the Season 2 of an American series, Wayward Pines.

The series features other American actors like Matt Dillon and Jason Patric in the lead roles. Its director is an Indian Manoj Night Shyamalan who had helmed several Hollywood blockbusters like The Sixth Sense and After Earth.

This sci-fi mystery thriller series will be premiered by mid 2016. The lady has a mysterious role and will be paired opposite Jason. The plot runs interesting around the protagonist Matt who goes to Wayward Pines in search of 2 other agents and get tangled in a mystery.

Nimrat has already joined the crew at Vancouver and she will be present in the 2nd as well as in the 3rd season of the series. It is notabl
e that Nimrat has already played the role of Intelligence Agent in another American series Homeland. 

Nimrat Kaur is an Indian actress. She began her career as a print model and went on to act in theater. After brief appearances in a few films, Kaur starred in Anurag Kashyap's production Peddlers, which was screened at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. She followed it with her breakthrough role in The Lunchbox, a critically acclaimed drama co-starring Irrfan Khan, which was screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

In 2015, Kaur had a recurring role in the fourth season of the American television series Homeland, in which she played Tasneem Qureshi, an Inter-Services Intelligence agent. She then played the leading lady opposite Akshay Kumar in the war thriller Airlift, a major critical and commercial success.
