Dhanush’s collaboration with Vetrimaaran has been delaying and is anticipated to materialise only by the end of this year. Vada Chennai was announced to be made long back and yet the pre-production works are itself underway. The actor also seems to be busy with Kodi and Yennai Nokki Paayum Thotta followed by his Hollywood debut. Meanwhile the other actors Vijay Sethupathi and Jiiva who were rumoured to play alongside Dhanush were interviewed in regard to this. All we heard was there is no official confirmation from both of them as the talks are in the very initial stage. The team is in touch with the actors for playing pivotal roles but as there is delay in kickstarting the venture, they couldn’t let a word on it.
