Vetrimaaran's Visaranai which released last week has been an honour to Tamil cine industry with almost all the film critics praising the director’s flawless work. Director Priyadarshan who had recently watched the film has bought the Hindi remake rights. Previously before buying the remake rights of Visaranai, Priyadarshan was working on a script with Akshay Kumar to be produced by Rohit Shetty. But there were rumours started to float around that Akshay Kumar will play the leading man in Visaranai remake. Both the directors had cleared the cloud by officially reporting that they are separate movies. This Rohit Shetty film is about to be started by July and this will be the 7th film for Priyadarshan’s collaboration with Akshay Kumar. So his remake on Visaranai is expected to start some time after finishing this film in 2017. Apart from this, another news is that Akshay Kumar is also invited for a premiere of Visaranai at Mumbai in the next weekend.
