The sensational news today at Kollywood is that the Maari actor is reported to venture into Hollywood under the direction of a French novelist Marjane Satrapi. Another interesting news to add is that he will pair with Uma Thurman, the Kill Bill lady and Alexandra Daddario, who was last seen in San Andreas. Titled as ‘The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard’, Dhanush will play the role of a conjurer (like a magician). The story is based on the book with the same name and it is an adventurous plot running around the protagonist. The director seems to have been impressed from Dhanush’s intelligence, killer smile and his adherence to any type of character and has chosen him. He joins the list of Bollywood actors like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sonu Sood, etc who are all moving slowly into Hollywood’s big picture. This fantasy flick will be produced by an Indian Aditi Anand and the shooting will extensively cover India, France, Italy and Morocco.
