After the release of Vedhalam, Ajith has been listening to scripts form lead directors to choose his next. There was a rumour during the making of Vedhalam itself that he will join with Siruthai Siva for the third time in a row after Veeram and Vedhalam. But the recent word is that he has listened to two scripts from director Vishnuvardhan and was impressed with one of it. It seems to be a historical period film based on Brihadeeswarar Temple at Tanjore which will be the first of its kind for both of them to try out. As a matter of fact, the duo has given two blockbuster hits Billa and Aarambam earlier and are positive about their collaboration. But there is no official confirmation from any of them while Ajith is still recovering from his knee surgery.
