The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has appointed a special committee to lend a helping hand to the Censor Boards in India in the film certification. This team was headed by the veteran director Shyam Benegal who was known for winning National Awards for every movie he has taken. To add the persons from different regions to the committee, they had nominated Kamal Haasan and directors Shaji Karun, Gautam Ghosh to it. Apart from them, the committee includes Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, adman Piyush Pandey and film journalist Bhawana Somaaya. It is a great honour for Kamal Haasan to work with a team of renowned directors.
