Oscar award winning music composer A.R.Rahman has spoken about his respect for the veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja. Several musicians become addicted to drugs in the process of attaining fame. But Ilaiyaraaja has changed such an opinion about musicians and lived a true legend. This talk came to a spotlight as Maestro’s 1000th album, Thaarai Thappattai was released on December 25. It is not only A.R.Rahman but every other cine industry people holds respect for the Isaignani. On the other hand, Rahman is onto throwing two concerts in Chennai and Coimbatore on January 16 and 23. This ‘Nenje Ezhu’ concert will be exclusively for Tamil songs and the bookings are rushing for it.
