Actor Kathir of Madha Yaanai Koottam fame has been bagging some good number of movies in the recent days. Though he did not achieve the commercial success, the actor have been receiving acclamations for his performance. His upcoming movie directed by Jagadeesan Subu will take the actor entirely to the next level. Kathir is on to doing an effeminate character in the movie titled as ‘Sigai’. The first look released two days back had created a buzz with the actor looking like a woman. The shooting is set in Anna Nagar, Chennai and story is about the events of one day that changes the life of a man. The actor describes that the movie doesn’t have a separate actor or actress but 9 important characters with equal role. His character, a student coming back to India after studying from abroad arouses a sense of suspense. This seems to be a thriller flick with a social message to the society. Jagadeesan Subu is an associate of Kaaka Muttai director Manikandan who has written the story for Kathir’s previous movie Kirumi.
