Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is a biopic of the wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. As Aamir’s wife, a television actress Sakshi Tanwar will be featuring and as his four daughters there are four new faces. The main theme of the story is how the male lead trains his two daughters to the celebrated wrestler champions who wins the Commonwealth Games in 2010. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the shooting is scheduled to start from September 21 at Ludhiana, Pune, Delhi and Mumbai as stated by the actor in a press meet at Ludhiana on September 14. Nitesh has visited nearly 20 to 25 villages and finally decided a place at Ludhiana. Aamir has put on extra 30 kgs of weight to reach 95 kgs for this flick. After the shooting of elderly M.Phogat is done, he is slated to take a break of 5 months to lose all the weight for young M.Phogat. The story was narrated to the director in two lines by the co-producer of the movie at Disney that inspired him to make it. The story is a very emotional one focussing on the discrimination of women child in India. But the director had come up with it in an entertaining manner with a pinch of humour. Only Rajkumar Hirani, the director of PK has the ability to bring the social issues in an entertaining way and Nitesh had followed his footsteps this time.
