With just ten days left until Rathnam hits theaters, the team behind the Vishal-led film shared that it has passed censorship checks and earned a U/A rating from the CBFC. Recently, the movie's trailer was unveiled. The plot unfolds in Vellore, near Andhra Pradesh's border, where goons target Priya Bhavani Shankar's character for reasons unknown. Vishal's character, Rathnam, intervenes to thwart their schemes. In addition to Vishal, the action-packed movie features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Murali Sharma, Samuthirakani, and more. Kaarthekeyan Santhanam's Zee Studios and Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Production are producing Rathnam. This film marks the third collaboration between Hari and Vishal. M Sukumar is the cinematographer, and T S Jay handles the editing. Rathnam is set to hit theaters on April 26.
