Director Pa Ranjith and actor Vikram's movie, Thangalaan, has been highly anticipated since it was first announced. To celebrate actor Vikram's birthday, the filmmakers gave a sneak peek of the upcoming film. The video reveals how the actor from Ponniyin Selvan changes into a leader for his community. He learns to ride horses, trains hard for tough action scenes under the hot sun, and even gets covered in mud. Pa Ranjith directs Thangalaan, featuring Vikram and Parvathy Thiruvothu as the main characters. Malavika Mohanan has an important role, and the cast also includes Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and Hari Krishnan. Studio Green and Neelam Productions are supporting Thangalaan. The movie's music is by GV Prakash, marking their first work together with the filmmaker. Tamil Prabha is a co-writer, and Selva RK and SS Murthi are handling editing and art, respectively. The film is currently in post-production, and the release date hasn't been announced yet. Initially planned for January 26, the release has been postponed. Thangalaan will be available in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
