On Thursday, the creators of the movie featuring Dulquer Salmaan, called "Lucky Baskhar," unveiled their first teaser and shared news about its release. This thrilling heist film is scheduled to hit theaters in July 2024. Lucky Baskhar" takes place in 1980s Bombay. The teaser shows Dulquer Salmaan as a regular bank cashier who suddenly finds a large sum of money in his account. Towards the end, Salmaan's character looks directly at the camera, hinting at something mysterious. "Lucky Baskhar" seems to be an exciting heist thriller with grand production values. This is Dulquer's third movie in Telugu cinema. Before this, he acted in big movies like "Mahanati" (2022) and "Sita Ramam" (2022), both set in the past. The movie also features Meenakshi Chaudhary in an important role. GV Prakash Kumar created the music for the film. Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer, Navin Nooli handles the editing, and Balan is the art director. "Lucky Baskhar" is both written and directed by Venky Atluri, known for his work on the 2023 Dhanush movie "Vaathi." The project is funded by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The makers intend to release the film nationwide, including dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
