The sequel to "Indru Netru Naalai" arrives nine years after the original, which featured Vishnu Vishal, Miya George, and Karunakaran as main characters. Ravikumar, the director of the first movie, will write the script for "Indru Netru Naalai 2". His recent directing work includes Sivakarthikeyan's "Ayalaan". Bharath Mohan has experience as an assistant director to CV Kumar on the movie "Maayavan". His past films, "Igloo" and "Ippadikku Kaadhal", are both romantic dramas. But "Indru Netru Naalai 2" is anticipated to be a science fiction film with a time travel plot, much like the previous one.
