The creators of Ma Po Si posted the movie's first-look image on social media today. They also shared a link to an introduction video. Vemal plays the main role of a teacher in the film, and the poster shows him holding a piece of chalk, giving us a sneak peek into his character. Meanwhile, the video talks about how education has changed over time, and how it was not available to some people at first. It also talks about the different leaders in Tamil Nadu who made it possible for more people to get an education. The video mentions a village called Mangollai where education was not allowed because of religious reasons. It suggests that Vemal, the main character, will go to this village and help the people there get access to education. Bose Venkat is leading the direction of Ma Po Si, with Vetrimaaran presenting the film, and Siraj S producing it under his SSS Pictures banner. Siddhu Kumar is creating the music for the movie, and Kannan MK is overseeing its production. This is Vemal's second movie where he plays a teacher; he previously portrayed a similar character in Vaagai Sooda Vaa.
