The people making Soodhu Kavvum 2 said they'll show the movie's first picture on March 22. The movie is called Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naadum Naatu Makkalum, and Shiva will be the main actor. Directed by SJ Arjun, the movie also has Harisha, Radha Ravi, Karunakaran, M.S. Bhaskar, Karate Karthi, Ramesh Thilak, Yog Japee, Aruldoss, Kalki, and Kavi. The story is written by SJ Arjun and T Yogaraja. The follow-up movie comes from Nalan's original idea. Producer CV Kumar said earlier that Soodhu Kavvum 2 is entirely connected to the first movie's story. The team behind the scenes includes cameraman Karthik K Thillai, music maker Edwin Louis Viswanath, and editor Ignatious Aswin. Soodhu Kavvum, a dark crime comedy movie from 2013, was directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. It featured Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ashok Selvan, and Sanchita Shetty, but none of them will be in the sequel.
