On Saturday, the team behind Kavin's Star shared that Yuvan Shankar Raja, the music director, has started redoing the music for the movie. Star is created and directed by Elan, known for Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. Aaditi Pohankar will play the main female role in Star, alongside Lal, Preity Mukundhan, and Geetha Kailasam in supporting roles. It's important to mention that initially, Harish Kalyan was set to be the lead actor but was later replaced by Kavin. Ezhil Arasu, who previously worked on Dada, is the cinematographer for Star, with editing by Pradeep E Ragav. National Award-winner Sujith Sudhakaran is designing the costumes, and Vinoth Raj Kumar N is the art director.
