On Monday, the creators revealed the initial appearance of Varun Dhawan's character, Baby John, in the action-packed thriller. It's written and directed by Kalees and also features Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in important roles.

In the first look, Varun appears in a strong and intense character. It includes elements from myths and cultural symbols, accompanied by a strong background music.

Baby John is brought to you by Atlee and produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. Kiran Koushik is the one behind the camera, while Ruben handles the editing. Thaman S creates the film's music with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. It's set to hit theaters on May 31st.


Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. The son of film director David Dhawan, he studied Business Management from the Nottingham Trent University after which he worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar on the 2010 drama My Name Is Khan. Dhawan made his acting debut with Johar's 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year, a box office success, for which he received a Filmfare nomination for Best Male Debut. In 2014, he played leading roles in the comedies Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, both of which were commercially successful. The following year, Dhawan played an avenger in Sriram Raghavan's crime thriller Badlapur.
