Earlier, we mentioned Aishwarya Rajinikanth's new movie, Lal Salaam, with a cameo by Rajinikanth, was supposed to come out around Pongal. But, it turns out, it won't be part of the Pongal releases. The latest news is that the movie will now hit the screens on February 9. The makers shared this update on their social media on Tuesday. Lal Salaam is a sports drama all about cricket, starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the main roles. Rajinikanth appears as Moideen Bhai, and Vishnu Vishal plays Thirunavukkarasu. We still don't know the name of Vikranth's character. Even though it's a sports drama, the movie is said to have some political significance. Lal Salaam features music created by AR Rahman, which is his first time working with Aishwarya. The camera work is handled by Vishnu Rangasamy, and Pravin Baaskar is in charge of editing.
