Vijay Kumar, known for making and starring in Uriyadi and Uriyadi 2, is making a comeback to the screen after four years. He will be the main actor in a new action drama called "Fight Club," directed by debut filmmaker Abbas A Rahmath. The movie is being presented by G Squad, a production house recently started by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Talking about the plot, Abbas, who used to work as an assistant to Vijay Kumar, shares, "Fight Club is a story about growing up. It follows the main character from finishing school to starting college. The movie explores student conflicts, the main character's love life, and his journey through making mistakes to ultimately finding redemption." In Fight Club, Monisha Mohan Menon, who is new to acting and has worked on a few short films in Malayalam, plays the main female character. Avinash Raghudevan from Jil Jung Juk, Karthikeyan Santhanam, Shankar Das, and Saravanavel are also part of the cast. The cinematography is handled by Leon Britto, and the editing is done by Kripakaran P. The music for Fight Club is composed by Govind Vasantha, who previously collaborated with Vijay on Uriyadi 2. Vijay is not only acting but also serving as the creative producer for the film, and Abbas is the writer. The movie was filmed in places like Pazhaverkadu and Manapad, and the team plans to release it in December.
