The upcoming supernatural horror Maya starring Nayanthara in the center of the story has many twists as stated by its debut director Ashwin. Though it is a bone-chilling ghost movie, there will be an equal emotional content as in Eeram. This is the recent trend in horror movies to blend emotional touch like in Pisasu by Mysskin, that's welcomed by the audiences too. Maya is getting into buzzes in the recent days and the expectations are increasing as it is nearing the release date, September 17. Nayanthara will be portrayed as a mother of a young girl though there is no specific hero or heroine and the story runs around these women. The male character in the movie was dedicated to Aari of Nedunchalai fame who plays an interesting role. Ashwin had also thanked the cinematographer Sathya who had helped him bring his visuals to reality in the scenes he shot in his own style.
