The people who are making the movie 'Japan' said that Karthi has started recording his voice for the film. They showed a video where Karthi is trying to say a line but he can't say it right at first. Then, he puts on his character's clothes and says the line perfectly, sounding just like his character from Japan. Japan is a fun action movie directed by Raju Murugan. It's going to be in theaters around Diwali in 2023. In the teaser that came out on Karthi's birthday, he looks completely different and plays the role of a unique gangster you've never seen before. Dream Warrior Pictures is helping to make 'Japan,' and this is the second time they are working with director Raju Murugan after 'Joker.' In addition to Karthi, the movie also has Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, and cinematographer-filmmaker Vijay Milton in important roles. The music for 'Japan' is done by GV Prakash Kumar, Ravi Varman is taking care of the camera work, and Philomin Raj is editing the movie.
