The rumors about Chiru 157, a fantasy movie directed by Vasshishta, have been proven true. The makers officially confirmed this on Tuesday. They chose Chiranjeevi's birthday as the day to announce it. He's turning 68 this year.

Vasshishta, known for directing the movie "Bimbisara," is taking the lead in this new project. The movie is said to be a fantasy film. The makers also revealed that "Chiru 157" will be similar to Chiranjeevi's popular fantasy movie "Jagadeeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari" from 1990. In that film, Chiranjeevi acted alongside Sridevi, Shalini, Shamlee, Amrish Puri, and Allu Ramalingaiah. The director of "Jagadeeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari" was K Raghavendra Rao.

The news was shared with a picture that shows the five elements of nature arranged around a star that looks like a trident. On top of the picture are birthday greetings for Chiranjeevi. "Chiru 157" is being presented as a big-budget movie and will be made by Vamsi and Pramod under the UV Creations name.


Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, producer, politician and a member of the Indian National Congress. His younger brother Pawan Kalyan and son Ram Charan are also actors in Tollywood.His another younger brother Nagendra Babu and brother-in-law Allu Aravind are film producers.He was the Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Prior to politics, Chiranjeevi has attended the Madras Film Institute, and had worked primarily in Telugu cinema, in addition to Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. He made his acting debut in 1978, with the film Punadhirallu. However, Pranam Khareedu was released earlier at the box office.
