The film features experienced filmmaker Bharathiraja and newcomers Rakshana and Shyam Selvan. The movie poster shows new actors Rakshana and Shyam Selvan standing on opposite sides, looking at each other with love. In the middle is Bharathiraja. The movie is directed by Bharathiraja's son, Manoj Bharathiraja, who is making his debut as a director. The music for the film will be composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The movie "Margazhi Thingal" is supported by Director Suseenthiran's production company, Vennila Productions. They have finished the first part of filming recently. The people behind the scenes include AR Suriya as the cinematographer, responsible for capturing the movie's visuals, and Thiyagu as the editor, who will put all the shots together to make the final film.
