Directed by Balki, Ki and Ka got started with shooting in the beginning of August with a different pair of Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. It seems that she will be doing a never done before role as a corporate woman in stylish formals of pant suits and knee length skirts for the first time in her 15 year cinema career. The gorgeous lady had even liked her looks and feels excited about it. She was also seen to be working out to look perfectly fit and tries Pilates even during the breaks in the shooting at the studio’s gym. Kareena appears to be attached strictly to her regime of having light lunch at 4 P.M. without skipping a single day. The male lead, Arjun Kapoor was said to do the role of a house husband who supports the ambitions of his corporate working wife. The movie also has Amitabh Bachchan and his spouse Jaya for the first time on screen. The story goes with the Indian society opinions on the gender that will be affecting the married couple. The title itself have been derived from the same idea ‘ladka’ and ‘ladki’ meaning boy and girl in Hindi.
