Rajamouli was recently in a function organized by L.V.Prasad Film and TV Academy where the director Gautham Menon was also present where he had a chance to express his desire for Gautham’s movies. Rajamouli shared that his son was once compelling him to watch Ye Maaya Chesave as Rajamouli denied to watch romantic movies of that sort. But one day, he literally locked up the legendary director inside a room left with the movie's DVD. On watching the film, he seems to have touched and moved away with the characterisation of 'Jessie' and he even started to compare it with his movies. Hearing his words with a smile, Gautham said that his son surely has a Jessie in his life and in fact there are many Jessies in this world. He further added that he respect women a lot and hence he gives importance to women in his movies. Gautham also endorsed his Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya to Rajamouli that it would be more impressive with many candid shots taken between Karthik and Jessie.
