In our previous report, we mentioned that Por Thozhil is scheduled to release in theaters on June 9. Prior to its release, the makers of the film have now announced that it has received a U/A certification after undergoing the censoring process. Debutant filmmaker Vignesh Raja directs Por Thozhil, featuring Ashok Selvan as Prakash and Sarathkumar as Loganathan. The recently unveiled trailer suggests that the two actors portray police officers investigating a series of murders committed by the same perpetrator. Nikhila Vimal also joins the cast of Por Thozhil in a significant role. Vignesh Raja, along with Alfred Prakash, has penned the screenplay. The film boasts a talented technical crew, including cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji, editor Sreejith Sarang, and music composer Jakes Bejoy. It is noteworthy that Por Thozhil marks the maiden Tamil project for Applause Entertainment Studio, known for their involvement in acclaimed productions such as Scam 1992 and Zwigato. The film will be produced in collaboration with E4 Experiments and Eprius Studio.
