The title and first-look poster of Kishore, known for his role in the movie Aadukalam, were unveiled by the creators on Monday for his upcoming film. The film, titled Mugai, is directed by Ajith Kumar J. Aarsha Chandini Baiju has been cast as the female lead in the movie as well. Actress Aarsha revealed that she landed a role in Mugai after the filmmakers saw her performance in Average Ambili. This movie serves as her debut in the Tamil film industry. Mugai is being produced by Light House Media in collaboration with Sri Dharma Productions, Jasper Studios, and Visthaara. Kishore Kumar is not only starring in the film but also co-producing it. The music for Mugai is composed by Sakthi, with Arjun Accot serving as the cinematographer and Santhosh T. handling the editing. As of now, the plot details of the film have not been revealed by the makers. However, the trailer for Mugai is scheduled to be released on June 6th.
