The highly anticipated title for Mahesh Babu's next film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas and known as "SSMB 28," has been unveiled as "Guntur Kaaram." The title announcement came along with a teaser video, which was released during the re-release screenings of the 1971 film "Mosagallaku Mosagadu." This special screening was held to celebrate the 80th birth anniversary of Mahesh Babu's father and renowned actor, Krishna. Sadly, Krishna passed away on November 15, 2022, due to a heart attack. "Guntur Kaaram" features an ensemble cast including Sreeleela and Pooja Hegde alongside Mahesh Babu. The film boasts a stellar technical team, with Thaman composing the music, PS Vinod handling cinematography, Navin Nooli in charge of editing, and AS Prakash overseeing the production design. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and S Sai Soujanya under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, "Guntur Kaaram" marks the third collaboration between Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu, following their successful ventures "Athadu" and "Khaleja." The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 13, 2024.
