The much-anticipated debut directorial venture of Manoj Bharathiraja, titled "Margazhi Thingal," has officially begun its filming journey, as announced by the makers on Wednesday. The film marks the remarkable presence of Manoj's father, the esteemed filmmaker Bharathiraja, in the lead role. Joining them are talented newcomers Rakshana and Shyam Selvan in significant roles. Additionally, the makers shared glimpses of the auspicious pooja ceremony conducted on the film's sets, creating excitement among fans and the industry alike. Earlier, the makers of "Margazhi Thingal" unveiled an intriguing first-look poster, showcasing Bharathiraja in a village setting, holding a stick. Superimposed in the background is the silhouette of a couple, adding to the visual appeal. Under the Vennila Productions banner, the film is supported by director Suseenthiran, while the music will be composed by GV Prakash. The cinematography duties will be handled by AR Suriya, and Thiyagu will take charge of the editing.
