Sankalp, known for directing 'The Ghazi Attack', has returned with a new Hindi film called 'IB 71'. The film is based on true events and recounts the remarkable accomplishment of 30 courageous agents who managed to accomplish an extraordinary feat against Pakistan in just 10 days during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The film focuses on a covert operation that few Indians are aware of. The trailer was revealed on Monday, with the filmmakers inviting audiences to witness this inspiring true story that played a crucial role in India's victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Anupam Kher plays a significant role in the movie, which features cinematography by Gnana Shekar VS. Prashanth R Vihari, known for his work in 'Antariksham', has composed the background score, while Sriram Kannan Iyengar and Sujeet Subhash Sawant have overseen the production design. Stunt choreography is by K Ravi Verma, Lee Whittaker, and Yannick Michel Ben. The story has been written by Aditya Shastri, and the screenplay has been penned by a team of writers including Storyhouse Films LLP, Sankalp, Arjun Varma, Vasudeva Reddy E, Arun Bhimavarapu, Gargee Singh, and Abhimanyu Srivastava. The film is scheduled to release on May 12th.
