On Tuesday, Kamal Haasan concluded shooting for the South Africa schedule of "Indian 2" and is expected to complete his remaining scenes soon. Additionally, the Ulaganayagan has announced a new epic project in collaboration with the renowned director Mani Ratnam, tentatively named "KH234". After 36 years since their cult classic "Nayakan," the duo is reuniting for "KH234". Raaj Kamal Films International will produce the film, with music composed by AR Rahman. Earlier reports suggested that Trisha was the top choice for the female lead, marking her third collaboration with Kamal Haasan. New reports indicate that the filmmakers are negotiating with Nayanthara to star as the female lead in "KH234". It remains unclear if Trisha will be replaced or if the film will feature both actresses opposite Kamal Haasan. If everything goes as planned, the film will mark the first collaboration between the Ulaganayagan and Lady Superstar. Shooting is expected to commence this year, with a release scheduled for 2024.
