The sequel to Soodhu Kavvum, which is titled Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naatum Naatu Makkalum, commenced filming after a brief pooja ceremony, as announced by the creators on Monday. The lead role in the movie will be played by Shiva, with Karunakaran and Ramesh Thilak set to reprise their roles from the original film. Additionally, there is speculation that Vijay Sethupathi will make a cameo appearance in Soodhu Kavvum 2. Thirukumaran Entertainment, owned by CV Kumar, will produce the sequel, much like the original. Karthik K Thillai is the cinematographer for Soodhu Kavvum 2, with Igantious Aswin serving as the editor. The music for the film will be composed by Edwin Louis Viswanath. Further information regarding the plot and the remaining cast of Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naatum Naatu Makkalum has not yet been disclosed by the creators.
