The upcoming film featuring Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Pa Ranjith has been titled "Thangalaan," also known as "Thangalan". Pa Ranjith wrote and directed the film, while Tamizh Prabha wrote the dialogue. On the occasion of Vikram's 57th birthday, the making video of the highly anticipated film 'Thangalaan', directed by Pa Ranjith and starring Vikram, was released. The film is based on true events about Tamil workers who worked in the Kolar Gold Fields during pre-independence. The making video showcased Vikram's shocking transformation in his role in the film. The music for the movie was composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, The cinematography was done by Kishor Kumar and the editing was handled by Selva Rk. The film was produced by K.E. Gnanavelraja under the banners of Neelam Productions and Studio Green. Vikram played the lead role in this film, alongside supporting actors such as Malavika Mohan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Harikrishnan, and several others.
