The upcoming Tamil movie, previously known as Suriya 42, has now been officially titled "Kanguva". Written and directed by Siruthai Siva, the film stars Suriya in the lead role, along with Disha Patani, a popular Bollywood actress making her Tamil debut, and a supporting cast including comedian Yogi Babu and several other artists.

The soundtrack and background score of the movie were composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, while Vetri Palanisamy took charge of the cinematography, and the editing was done by Nishad Yusuf. K. E. Gnanavel Raja, Vamsi, and Telugu producer Pramod jointly produced the film under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations.

This film will be released in 10 different languages and in a 3D format as a pan-Indian movie by Studio Green. The pan-Indian movie "Kanguva" will release in 2024


Suriya is an Indian film actor, film producer and television presenter, who is currently working in the Tamil film industry. He has acted in 29 films in various genres as a lead actor till date. After making his debut in Nerukku Ner (1997), he went on to feature in several critical and commercial successes.
