"Indian 2," Kamal Haasan and Shankar's long-awaited project, was revived last year by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. With a large ensemble cast, the filmmakers are currently shooting in the Tirupati forest. Oscar-nominated dance master Prem Rakshith of "Naatu Naatu" song fame has been added to choreograph a song in the film. It's noteworthy that this song has already won several international awards, including the Golden Globe. Sources say the song will be filmed after the Tirupati schedule. Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 vigilante hit, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar. Shankar is also directing Ram Charan's "RC15" simultaneously. Kamal Haasan has another untitled project with Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman, tentatively called "KH234", and a film with director Mahesh Narayanan. He's in talks with H Vinoth for another project as well.
