Suriya's portrayal of Rolex in the film Vikram was highly acclaimed and many people still remember him in that role. He is now working on his 42nd film and the entire production team has decided to shoot it in Fiji. One of the main reasons for this decision is that the Fiji government offers various tax incentives to productions filming in the country, which is an added benefit for the film. The film is directed by Siva, who has previously directed Vedhalam, Viswasam, and Vivegam. It is produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, with music composed by DSP and GV Prakash. The film is based on the Vael Paari novel and is expected to be a historically significant film. After the announcement of the movie, many who are familiar with the novel have expressed surprise. The team believes this film will be a major milestone for Kollywood cinema and has decided to release it in ten languages worldwide.
