Ever since the first film, Karthik Subbaraj is giving detours in Tamil cinema like in Pizza and Jigarthanda. The same is expected in his third film Iraivi, an ensemble cast with Vijay Sethupathi, S.J.Suryah, Bobby Simha, Anjali, Karunakaran and Kamalinee Mukherjee. Radha Ravi is also added now to the casting and the director is thinking of having a third heroine apart from the two lady leads. And regarding the story, the director had said that it would be more or less a women-centric message. He had brought the love with the theme of showing how a woman can influence a man's life. The same team of C.V.Kumar as producer and Santhosh Narayanan as music composer is carried down. The shooting is going on in a faster pace and the parts with Kamalinee were wrapped up. Both the heroines, Anjali and Kamalinee expressed that they were thrilled to do the different yet an intense role in this movie.
