Suresh Krissna the director of the commercial hit Baasha in 1995 is planning to make its sequel Baasha-2 with Thala in the lead. It was because that Ajith had a good work in the remake of Billa by Rajinikanth, the director is convinced of having Ajith for his venture. Surprisingly the director has refused that these are all rumours and he doesn’t have any idea about it so far. Maybe this will give him a source of inspiration to do in future. Baasha was a trademark movie for Superstar in his peak times and the role being re-taken by Ajith may not turn out well. Further the director has expressed his wish that he would be happy if these rumours come true and everytime he hears about Baasha in cinema news, it excites him. The reason for the rumour may be the signing up of Sathya Jyothi Films, the makers of Baasha for producing Thala 57 had stirred and built up that it may be Baasha-2.
