Dhanush has got down Thara local in a commercial entertainer Maari, directed by Balaji Mohan. Jointly produced by the Ustad Hotel and How Old are You Producer, Listin Stephen, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Dhanush himself, Dhanush’s mass performance in the trailer and teaser had attracted a lot of youngster audiences. The reservations which were open from the July 16th morning made the theatres houseful from July 17 to 19. The bad news about it was the worldwide release was put on hold due to some releasing issues and hence it is hitting only in 325 screens in Tamil Nadu. Here are few reasons that you should never miss to watch Maari in theatres: ✪ The cast played by Vijay Yesudas in a mass police uniform for the first time bring out the curiosity as a powerful antagonist which is way different from his singing career. ✪ Kajal and Dhanush pair has to be in combination in Polladhavan itself and after missing the opportunity they are together now with a pleasing worked out chemistry. ✪ Anirudh and Dhanush duo had been a success in two films, Moonu and Velaiyilla Pattadhari and their third union now along with his appearance in the intro Thara local song is beyond expectations. Don’u-Don’u tunes and the other theme music of the movie have formed the chartbusters. ✪ The director Balaji, a great fan of Dhanush has made him look the way he always wanted to. His third movie Maari after Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum is a biggest film in his career as of now. The director was famous for his rom-coms and now has jumped to action genre in this film. ✪ Above all, Dhanush in a local kingpin with a completely changed mannerisms, punch dialogues, colourful dress and circular coolers best suits him and the movie is going to be a sure shot hit of the year.
